Cross Keys was a very enjoyable experience. A very friendly place, great food at an unbelievably reasonable price. Great historic decor. Great selection of ales including the wonderful Adnums Broadsword. Must be the best place in Chatteris for lunch/dinner or just to quench your thirst. Would highly recommend.
Amazing hosts, great food, awesome breakfast. Historic pub with nooks and crannies, friendly staff, a warm and friendly place to stay.
I consider it the nicest in town with a good balance of atmosphere and heritage. Friendly staff and regulars make for an intimate yet heartwarming feel. Possibly the oldest pub, definitely the best.
Great food, lovely staff and wonderful rooms. As to this a landlord who really knows how to look after his beers and the result is heaven on earth. Best point in town
A wonderful stay in a beautiful listed building. The four-poster bed was a great surprise. The food and drink was excellent and very well priced. Overall I would recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in Cambridgeshires beautiful rural areas, and one to seek out if barging around the canals, though not directly on the water it would certainly be worth the walk. I will have need to use this hotel again at least twice a year, as there is a local sports car specialist in the town, and now I know of what a great place it is to stay, I will endeavour to make sure I get an overnight in to cut down on the long drives.
